My Parents Plan provides educational tools and personalized guidance to help families navigate senior care decisions. Our services include a facility finder, benefits screener, Medicaid planning guide, and personalized care plan generation through an AI-assisted interview process.

Not Medical, Legal, or Financial Advice

The information provided by My Parents Plan is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice. Always seek the advice of qualified professionals regarding your parent's care, legal planning, or financial decisions. We are not a licensed healthcare provider, law firm, or financial advisory service.

Free and Paid Services

Certain features of My Parents Plan are available free of charge, including the Facility Finder, Benefits Screener, Medicaid Planning Guide, and blog content. Personalized care plans require a paid subscription.

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected). You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at contact@myparentsplan.com.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your care plan and dashboard for the remainder of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 30 days at contact@myparentsplan.com.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Facility Information

Facility data displayed on our platform is sourced from public databases including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and user-submitted listings. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all facility information is current or complete. Always verify directly with any facility before making care decisions.

No Referral Fees

My Parents Plan does not accept referral fees, commissions, or any form of payment from care facilities, placement agencies, or service providers in exchange for recommendations. Our facility rankings are based solely on publicly available quality data.

Intellectual Property

All content on myparentsplan.com, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of My Parents Plan and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Parents Plan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
